Why I Write
I write because the most important conversation of our generation — about automation, artificial intelligence, and the future of human work and wealth — is being had primarily by technologists talking to each other, and by journalists who treat it as either catastrophe or salvation.
Neither framing serves the person trying to make sense of what is actually happening and what to do about it. The person who works in finance, or law, or healthcare, or education. The person who has spent twenty years building expertise and is now watching AI systems encroach on territory that felt uniquely human.
The Abundance Series is my attempt to build a bridge: between the complexity of these systems and the practical intelligence of readers who deserve better than apocalypse or hype. I draw on my experience at the intersection of technology and finance — at Apple, Meta, and Circle — to offer something that is both rigorous and accessible.
My central thesis is this: we are entering an age of genuine abundance, where the cost of intelligence and information approaches zero. The disruption is real. But the destination, for those who understand what is happening, is a world of expanded human possibility — not diminished human purpose.
